Nasiha Sheriff (born April 24) followed her wishes and won the title “Mrs. Universe 2020”. She has represented India in the Being SHE beauty pageant, which will be held in Dubai in November 2020. Her path from becoming a mother to being a model and competing in a beauty contest is not as easy as it appears from the outside. Nasiha made a strong determination not to be glamourous in the eyes of society because she felt that elegance and fashion are more than just being glamorous. That is when, in 2020, she discovered the “BeingSHETM” beauty pageant and entered it, representing India. Nasiha discovered her competitive spirit and followed her calling. Nasiha’s life changed for the better as a result of this gracious victory. Being driven has inspired her to advocate for the social cause of bringing aspiring women together and providing a voice to highlight the skills of society’s unsung heroines. “When a woman is financially secure and enjoys mental and spiritual guidance from her loved ones, she feels inspired and seeks to conquer the world,” Nasiha says. Her firm belief is that marriage can never serve as a stumbling block for any potential female achiever. “I don’t believe in miracles,” Nasiha says. I believe in perseverance.” She still insists that one can live one’s life to the fullest, in complete sincerity to themselves, so that one can look the other person in the eyes while conversing! Of necessity, fortune favors the courageous and the persevering.
